Breakfast of champions
(psst. Am I post-modern enough yet?)
spacekate asked: Logan! How art thou? And remind me again on the date of your departure.
I'm off to bed
I have a big plans for tomorrow.
Let’s hope that I see at least a few of them to fruition.
ninetiesbabe-deactivated2011110 asked: I wish to see you.
Tumblr is being a real dick this evening...
It says that I have a message but when I go to check it there is no message there….
……
And I was so excited for a moment there too!
I think I'd be a good conductor
bearlegs:
Except conductors around here are really stubborn. They never want to give up the baton to some bastard composition student.
I have the same problem… And it really sucks too considering that I want to be a conductor as a profession….
I thought I had recorded something rather...
But it turns out that the batteries kicked right after I started playing………………
What a FUCKING GOOD DAY!

Debating whether or not I should go on a long bike...
Thoughts?
excuse the cynicism
Oh the unquantifiable things
that pop up on my dashboard
that are either wholly illogical
or are in serious need of rectification
it makes the head spin
Well Kiddies
I’m rather tired, but with a sense of mild fulfillment
Because this evening I went to an art gallery with my father to see one of his friend’s opening exhibit. Any chance to flex my artistic, and verbal muscle is one I will devour with veracity!
And boy were they flaunted….
Oh, and I met a lovely gay couple from Colombia, though the more effeminate one was shit-faced drunk.
...
I also fear for the welfare of the human race...
So
Through the semantical, interconnectivity of youtube I happened across a slew of piano “compositions” with labels such as ‘piano song, original composition, VERY EMOTIONAL!’
Now, I improvise just like most musicians, and I have a soft spot in my heart for melody (as an of the recordings I’ve put up of my musings will likely indicate) but really?
But I will tell you...

if I offer the cello gods my first born, they will take pity on my poor, failing phalanges and bestow upon them the ability to finally understand the machinations of the devil-composer Haydn…
Not that I plan to have children
but they don’t need to know that…
I hate those Hayden concerti.
The first one, musically, is interesting enough as a piece of...

Oh my, am I ever tired!
Mayhap it is time for a little Philip Glass and Rainy Mood
So I can be whisked away into the land of blissful slumber
…..
mmmm, what a simply delectable thought!
Good night.
Oh!
givememywings:
And solo Bach.
Solo Bach on violin is absolutely wonderful.
MMMMM!!! Bach Chaconne!!
Yeah, I concur with everything you said, though I thought (or moreover, didn’t really think) that continuing the conversation in this post would be better. Piano trios are my favorite ensembles to play in. And the repertoire for it is just….. Apotheosized. And the Barber is a...
Listening to Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto
It isn’t even my favorite violin concerto
and violin concertos, as a genre, aren’t my favorite bit of art music
but it still has moments that are better than people
This is a petition to keep Sarah Palin off of the... →

Yes I'm a ambitious person (it unfortunately comes with a price at times), I know somewhere in me not all of it is going to happen but it's worth trying you know? :)
I wanted to go to Paris Conservatory too!!! But I'm safer setting my goals in New York or England :P
