Through the semantical, interconnectivity of youtube I happened across a slew of piano “compositions” with labels such as ‘piano song, original composition, VERY EMOTIONAL!’
Now, I improvise just like most musicians, and I have a soft spot in my heart for melody (as an of the recordings I’ve put up of my musings will likely indicate) but really?
But I will tell you now that nothing I’ve ever made sounds even half as gaudy and terrible as some of these alleged ‘fully fledged pieces’ as one sub-heading proudly proclaimed….
